Hey folks-- I don't know what the protocol is around here regarding talking about industry-related productions, so if this post is a faux pas smack me and we'll move on. ;)
That being said-- word is being bandied about that Pixar is doing a 2D feature unit with Brad Bird's Ray Gunn as the first project.
Thoughts?

Tue, December 2, 2003 - 10:52 AMyep, you guessed it... the protocol is to slap you down :)
no pixar employees are allowed to talk about anything production-related that's not already public information.
so... forget about hearing all the secrets about the next big movie.
that being said, i think a lot of pixar employees are just as surprised as the general public when stuff pops up in aint-it-cool-news and the likes...
hope that helps. -

I consider myself hereby slapped. ;)
I can understand the need for a nondisclosure protocol, having had to follow those same rules m'self when I was in the industry.
But as much as I've been hearing about that, it was worth asking, in case it was true and public info. ;)
Hope I didn't cross lines or offend anyone around here! -
